Virgili in Reus (Tarragona, Spain)
offers two tenure track positions at the assistant professor level beginning
September 2011.
The Department of Economics is a young and dynamic department with a steadily
improving research output. Recently, 4 research groups of the department have
been recognized as consolidated research groups by the Catalan Government.
Also, the Universitat Rovira i Virgili is currently creating a research center
in Economics. Consequently, we are looking for candidates with an outstanding
research potential whose research connects with that of our faculty in

While applications from outstanding candidates with research interests in any
field of economics will be considered, we have a special interest in applied
economics and in macroeconomics. In principle the position in applied economics
involves a partial teaching load at our campus Terres de l’Ebre (Tortosa).
