Christian Duran is an associate professor at the Department of Economics in the area of Applied Economics. He obtained his PhD at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) and his BSc in Economics at Universitat de Barcelona and Christian-Albrechts Universität Kiel (Germany). He teaches industrial policy and public economics.

His research interests are focused on the empirical evaluation of public policies with applications to tourism and environmental economics.
