Jordi Sardà is an associate professor of Economics at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. He obtained his degree in Chemical Science from Universitat de Barcelona in 1981 and his PhD in Economics from Universitat d'Alacant in 1996.

He is the author of several articles dealing with monetary policy and international economics. He has also published articles concerning methodological aspects of underground economy, and about the economic impact of tourism.

Currently is the secretary of the Department of Economics.
