Lluís Carreras is an associate professor at the Department of Economics of Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). He obtained his PhD in 2007 at URV.

His specialization fields are Taxation, Public Economics, Firm Creation Processes, and Social Economy, both in the market sector (cooperatives, labor societies, etc.) and in the non-profit organizations sectors (foundations and associations).

He is co-director of the masters program “Specialist in SMEs management” at URV Foundation. Furthermore he is the rector’s delegate at the Escuela Universitaria de Relaciones Laborales “Sancta Maria Maris” in Coma-ruga (El Vendrell).
