Martí Oliva is a full professor at the Department of Economics of Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). He obtained his PhD at Universitat de Barcelona, with a thesis on financial economics.

His main research interest focuses on issues related to financial economics and industrial organization, specifically, auction theory and health economics.

He has supervised several PhD theses and has been the Director of the Department of Economics from 2000 until 2006.
