Mónica Martín is an associate professor of the area of Applied Economics at the Department of Economics of the University Rovira i Virgili (URV). She obtained her bachelor degree in Economic and Business Sciences at the University of Barcelona and conferred a doctor's degree in Economics at the University Rovira i Virgili. His teaching focus on Economic Structure and Transport Economics and is a member of the Industry and Territory Research Group (GRIT).

Her scientific interest focus on Tranport Economics and managerial Demography, specially the efficiency and the port productivity and the managerial dynamics and survival. She has published her works in scientific magazines and, in addition, she has taken part in several research and transfer projects.
