Xavier Farré is a professor at the Department of Economics. He has a Bachelor Degree in Economics (Universitat de Barcelona).

Currently, he is assistent director at the campus Terres de l’Ebre. He has participated in several projects of knowledge transfer dealing with the diagnosis phase of the "strategic plan", the estimation of the tourist GDP, and the economic analysis of the cultural action plan.

His research interests deal with impact of tourism in the region of Terres de l'Ebre.
